We are completely confident in the fact that we can provide a very inspirational program that focuses on channeling the energy that youths have in a positive way as well as helping those who need it the most. We know that sometimes youth want to help the community and sometimes people need it, but it can be hard to know who, why and where. We focus on getting all of this sorted out while also helping people around the area to care for and maintain their lawns.
Leia’s Kids is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to bringing hope and joy to children, young adults, and families in the fight against childhood cancer. The organization accomplishes its mission by offering financial grants to ease the burden of medical expenses, hosting family dream parties that create unforgettable memories, organizing Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) mental health retreats to support emotional well-being, raising awareness about childhood cancer, and providing essential resources to guide families through their challenging journeys.
Shero’s Rise is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing girls and young women from underserved communities with the essential skills, experiences, tools, and support needed to become empowered agents of change in their world.
Our purpose is for every girl to find her voice, own her power and learn how to use her “invisible cape” to soar high in each stage of her development. Our goal is for each girl to become her own Shero.
Shero’s Rise will provide tools and resources for girls to dismantle habitually negative messaging, discriminatory practices, and systematically limited resources they are surrounded by.
Through a robust program rooted in support and empowerment, Shero’s Rise will foster the construction and connection of identity, development of intellect and independence, and ultimately, the ability to overcome any obstacles each girl may encounter in her environment. Shero’s Rise is the vehicle to help each girl thrive and to make the best decisions for her life and her community.
